Recipients are chosen by the College Council Government Committee. The Distinguished Service Award acknowledges exemplary service to the college over an prolonged time period.

College Council was established by statute in 1874 and is without doubt one of the three governing our bodies of the Queen’s College. All elective members are elected by and from Queen’s alumni.
