End of an era as Penwortham playgroup announces it will close its doors after 48 years

It was unveiled in March that the playgroup, which has run for nearly 50 decades, was struggling with closure for the reason that only 3 kids had been registered for the coming September. The college needs 10 to 12 college students to be equipped to stay open.
