Previous and current college students of Eastwood Public Faculty gathered on the college Wednesday afternoon to commemorate its closure.
After 46 years, the Forest Glade college will ring its final bell subsequent week.
College students and lecturers will transfer to Eastview Horizon Public Faculty within the fall.
“It’s great that the varsity has had such an impression on so many households and so many children, and it’s good to see the fruits of our labour. But additionally type of unhappy to know that the varsity that had such an impression is closing its doorways,” stated Principal Nick Arundine.
The brand new college, being constructed on the present web site of Parkview Public Faculty, will mix each faculties’ college students.
